AI Chat Board Filter
Use the board filter in AI Chat to quickly focus on chats from one board, or view all chats across your boards. Set a default to start side by side.
Board filter behavior
Section titled “Board filter behavior”- All boards — shows every chat across all your accessible boards.
- One board — shows only chats from that board.
- Default is All boards, so all your chats appear by default when you open the chat.
Agent Chat sidebar status
Section titled “Agent Chat sidebar status”When you open an agent chat with an agent that supports status visibility, the chat sidebar displays real-time per-agent status instead of a static green dot.
Available status indicators
Section titled “Available status indicators”- Active — the agent is currently processing a task or message.
- Idle — the agent is idle but available, with an optional duration indicating how long it has been idle.
- Idle with duration — same as Idle, but explicitly shows the elapsed time (in minutes) since the last activity.
- Out of tokens — the agent has exhausted its token budget and cannot process further requests until refreshed.
- Inactive — the agent has been turned off or has no recent activity; it is not responding.
How status changes are shown
Section titled “How status changes are shown”- The status is computed server-side at request time and shown as text immediately next to the agent name.
- Changing from one status to another updates in real time without needing to refresh the page.
- If an agent is explicitly turned off, it always shows Inactive until you restore the agent or the chat session closes.
Agent Chat auto-scroll behavior
Section titled “Agent Chat auto-scroll behavior”Agent Chat automatically scrolls to the most recent messages as new content arrives, including queued and typing indicators, so you never miss updates during active conversations.
Scrolling behavior
Section titled “Scrolling behavior”- When you are already at the bottom of the chat list and new messages arrive or queued statuses appear, the window follows them.
- If you scroll up to view earlier messages and new messages arrive, the scroll position stays where you left it until you scroll back down.
- When a new message appears while at the bottom, Chat immediately follows to keep the latest message in view.
